Training

It is our policy to invest in training and we have a Statement Policy in place.
All our engineers hold Passport to Safety, CSCS Cards, Manual Handling,
Abrasive Wheels and First Aid cards and many hold:
• Tower Scaffolding Erection and Inspection Certificates.
• Confined Space Working Certificates.
• Banksman Certificates.
• National Water Hygiene Card.

Control of substances of hazardous to health (COSHH)

All substances used by us are assessed in house prior to use and only used if safe to do so in line with manufacturer’s recommendations.

Construction, design and management regulation 2007 (CDM)

With the wide scope of experience within Clayton Penistone Group, we are able to act either as a ‘Principal Contractor’ or as a ‘Contractor’ for any project covered by the CDM requirements.

Insurances

The following are the relevant insurances that the company holds and renews yearly.

Insurance Types:

Employers Liability – Indemnity Limit £10 million.

Public/Product Liability – Indemnity Limit £10 million.

Contract Works – Indemnity Limit £1.2 million on any one contract.

Professional Indemnity £5 million any one claim
